If you use dye ink or chip pigment ink,your printhead will clog.Do not usedye ink for HP pro 8000, 8500, 8500a unless you modified your printhaed for dye ink.I checked ebay , Most people are selling dye ink filled CISS or compatiable cartridge filled with dye ink.Please do not use dye ink unless you know how to motify your printhead with dye ink.HP 940 Bulk Premium Pigment Ink- Premium pigment ink- Black, yellow, magenta, cyanyield : 9000 pages / 100ml ink ( based on 5% doc )TTL : $60The ink is very important for CISS system. If you choose wrong ink, you have to keep on change your printhead . I 've been sold more then 500 HP officejet pro 8500 ciss in my local area filled with this premium ink . I only had few customer call, but that was customer's fault , they mixed with other brand ink. Iwill not say it will not clog . But it was best ink from the ink i have been tested more then 10 different company ink . There are no perfect ink in the market, even though original HP ink clog too. Do not mix the ink with chip pigment ink or UV dye ink !!!
